Mitchell Point en plein air

Mitchell Point is in the Columbia River Gorge. This point was named after a trapper way back in the days of trappers.

I want this blog to be about painting and about painting thoughts and things like that. Fortunately or unfortunately when I am gung ho painting, words do not exists. When the painting is slogging along the words come more naturally. So less words means more painting and in my view that is a good thing.........

You just keep painting, Donna, and don't worry about words. There will be time for words in the winter when you and Buckley have time to relax. Beautiful painting here - you express the beauty around you perfectly well with your pastels!
