Beautiful, Donna. How long did this take you? Great recesson. and nice scrubby, wind blown treeline. What are they and what do you use to get these darks?

Hi Ida and thank you. This was a hard one and currently it is hidden in the back room. I struggled and struggled with these trees and did them over, and over. They are called scrub Oak. The area is extreme dry in the summer and so these oak trees do not grow very high and mighty. They cling to the ground.

The darks are from some Diane Townsend pastels. A blue black and dark green.
