A wonderful day in Goldendale! All of the smoke is east of us and we are having spectacular warm days and cool nights. I painted with my back to the Singing Bridge. Everyone calls it that as it has a grated surface and when cars go over the bridge it sings. Fortunately we do not have traffic in Goldendale, so I was able to enjoy the peace of painting here.
I will be out and about in town and people will say to me that they saw me at the Singing Bridge. I do hear cars slow down, but for some reason people do not stop and talk when I am painting. I think that they believe that it would interfere with my artists mind or something. Really, it gets lonely out here and I would love to talk to people!
