Washington State has lightning caused fires all over the place. Over 100 fires are burning and some of them have reached epic proportions. With the fires we have smoke. I am finding real beauty with this smoke. The aerial perspective is wonderful. The smoke also creates wonderful golden, pink, and lavender colors in the skies and in these grasses.
This morning the sun was a big orange globe. I drove down the highway thinking about how that could be painted. Nature brings us many delightful challenges.
