A Flying Leap

Those of you that read this blog and/or paint with us, know that Buckley likes his chair. One reason he has a chair is that he tends to get into difficult situations. Today the paint-out which was scheduled to be on Mt. Hood was changed and we were on our own. I took the Windsurfer and Buckley with me to a place we like. Since we were all alone Buckley roamed around and eventually as predicted found trouble. The grasses are very high and from his perspective he cannot see ahead more than a few inches. He came upon a big log and after trying to get over the log, took a big flying leap and ended up splash landing in a very deep and cold ditch. Back in the chair to get warm and lots of love after his huge adventure. The chair is not so bad after all.

Poor Buckley, plein air painting demands a lot from him as your companion. Good thing he is so loyal! Nice aspens, Donna. Keep up the great work!
