Donna,
Very nice work. Love the meadow, was it from a photo? I ask because the grass color would be green wouldn't it this time of year? Still, its beautiful work. I am having tree troubles, and Kim Lordier said to mass them more---so I try. Yours are swell!

Thank you Gary!

Yes Ida this is from a photo after a big rain storm two summers ago. It is VERY green here as it has been raining, and raining, an odd event for us on the dry side. Kim is a very good instructor and I learned from her how to mass stuff and it works. Thank you for the nice comments and I hope this finds you painting.

Beautiful light in both of these, Donna! You really know how to use it to your advantage to make a painting work.

I have a sample of that paper too, Donna, and a piece of it on Gatorboard. I use the reverse side to tape my other papers to. I can't imagine what that rough surface would do to my pastels! I'm glad your dry spell is over. I hope to end mine soon too.
