Wow, Donna! Not only can I hear the roar but I can feel the mist! Did you do any kind of plein air sketch for this one in addition to a photo reference? The last painting you posted was a stunner too!

Yes, we did paint here and the first painting was a failure. I came home and tried again, and again I failed. I guess third time is a charm, as I am pleased with this one. Sometimes it takes awhile to figure out how to get where you hope to go.
