Painting has taught me to slow down the pace of life. This does not mean that I paint slowly, nor does it mean my paintings represent slowness. It is a way of looking at life that makes for quality, rather than quanitity. The idea of a slower pace comes from Steven Pressfield's blog - Whats Next.
Mr. Pressfield has a link to another blog titled "Time for a Slow-Word Movement". Both of these writings are by authors, but the logic falls easily into the realm of painting.
