Both are very nice, Donna,but I love the colors and patterns in the foreground in Maryhill Morning. It really looks like morning light too - amazing! Were both of these plein air?
Thank you Donna. Both of these paintings were done in the studio. For me the most important point of plein air paintings is that it is not the end product, it is in fact, the beginning. It is how I start the process of creating a landscape painting. So both started with smaller plein air studies and then here is the final finished product.
Just a little something I am working on. Another maybe tomorrow......
