Blackberry Day - en Plein Air



The Windsurfer and Buckley took me down to a place in the Gorge called Avery.  It is a little secluded oasis along the river where people come to camp and fish.  This is almost like being on a island with a little protected cove.  I setup my oil painting stuff and started painting.  Fun for all three of us as the Windsurfer was able to paddle around on his SUP and Buckley ate grass.

Below is one of the trains that came through.  That deep rumble of those huge engines is always a thrill.  Two more big trains came through while I painted.  Hauling art supplies I hope!
