Spring

This little painting was inspired from a trip last spring to Glenwood Washington. Very near my favorite Aspen trees.
Yesterday and today I traveled to Catherine Creek State Park for some plein air work. Here are the rough results, or you could call them "painterly".

Thank you Donna. It is good to get out. We will have wind and rain again on friday. I will try again in the morning!

Donna, what a wonderful painting! It looks so summer-y with the darker greens and blues. Very beautiful work!! Which do you like best, a.m or P.m for your plein-air works? I am so glad its getting warmer, but the winds really blow in the Spring!!

Thank you Ida! I love the early morning. When summer comes along I like nothing better than to be out at first light. Everything is so lovely and you have the whole day in front of you. Evening is just as beautiful but when it is over, it is over.
