Queen Anne's Lace

For any of my artist friend's out there who occasionally crash and burn in this business of painting, read this link. I found this most helpful to pick myself up and start again.

Stephen Pressfield when-it-crashes

On a cloudy day we went out painting and after my little study I turned around just as the sun hit this little meadow of flowers. I snapped a couple of photo's.

Did a little rework on this.

Donna I just have to ask, are you watching the Webinar that Johannes did thru the WC website? I have been, its very good. Great work here again, just beautiful. Happy Holidays!

Beautiful work, Donna! Those wildflowers are really lovely and so nice to see at this time of year. Crash and burn ... that's what happened to me. I think my wreckage is still smoking. I have no studio and my pastels are packed to make the house "show" better. All to impress people who want upgrades that we don't have, Ha!

Thank you Ida. I have not watched the webinar, but found a short clip of him and learned in a quick session how to paint evergreen trees. What a great teacher. I will check him out further per your endorsements. Thank you for that.

Thank you Donna. So sorry about your crash and burn. I have been there and it can be terrible. But, you will be back. Just be sure of that one thing and it will carry you through this. I have always come back from the crash.......so far.......
