I know I sound like a broken record Donna but this is beautiful! It is very helpful for me to look at your plein air version and see how you used it to make the studio painting. Are you finding there is less pressure to make a finished painting on site when you know you will be refining it later as a studio painting?

Donna, it is so funny!... We again went for the same subject! I feel better now, I'm not the only one standing of the middle of creek to get the right vew!... (Mine is done from reference photo, of course, I wish I would have time for PAs!) Great job!

Thank you Donna and Tatiana.

Donna, I think you have that right. However, there is always the problem of changing light that makes me stop where I am even if I could go further. Also cold wet feet made me stop before I felt it was finished. But when I got it home I rather liked the freshness of the plein air painting. So the answer is a combination of ideas.
