Golds and Greens of Summer

Buckley and I went out painting this morning. Should have left earlier in the morning as it became HOT. This is my favorite time of year for painting around here. The grasses are turning to gold and some of the wild flower's are still in bloom which makes for interesting contrasts with the green oak trees.

My plan is to go out earlier in the morning and complete another study at this exact location. The weather is going to turn from hot to very windy this afternoon. The good news is it may bring clouds and then I can incorporate something new into this idea I have going. I am thinking if we do get some clouds of changing the composition from a higher horizon to a low horizon and more sky. We will see what happens and whether or not this becomes something.............................

Hi Donna T. I can tell you that Buckley is very good except when another dog comes along and for some reason he thinks I need to be protected. We are working on that little issue. Thank you Donna for looking.
