Aspens

Another from photo's that I took last year. This is an amazing place. I have been hunting aspens every year since we moved here. Some are impossible to get to because of private property and fences. Last spring we came upon this place by accident and spent the day here painting. This is considered a refuge and so is easily availble to the public. While we were here a photographer came in, dashed around, snapped some photo's and then took off in such of more beauty. As artists, we stopped took our time, setup our gear and spend the morning dazzled.

Wow, Donna, this is a beauty! Those warm yellows and oranges really pop against the blue-violet hill/mountain behind them!

Thank you Donna, this is a special place. Glad that it reads as a hill behind the trees and not a dark sky. A successful story!
