Too Much of a Green Thing

Today was the first day of the Pacific Northwest Plein Air Event.  All of the Artists gathered for a meeting and day of painting at The Gorge White House.  I live in the desert and was dazzled by all of the various greens.  I decided to get back to the golds of summer and out of the greens in the Hood River Valley.

I found this nice pine tree and the wonderful gold grasses.  I love this drier and warm scenery.
