Beargrass from Indian Heaven Wilderness
These are photo's we took today on our first foray into Indian Heaven Wilderness. The purpose today was getting to know Indian Heaven and finding inspiration for painting. Then there is an art show next August 2014.
The Wilderness I chose is not right on the road. Our first challenge was finding a spot that would be easy in and out on my injured knee (another story). We chose to hike into a place called Thomas Lakes. Of course it was lovely and smelled wonderful.
Beargrass is what is etched in my mind now that we are home. It was beautiful and abundant.
