The last of the grass and wild flowers at The Little Klickitat River Park. All of the rest have been mowed and weed-eaten so that the park has brown stubble everywhere. But this little tiny bit is all that is left for the artist. The actual feel and look of this spot is more golden than shows up on this photo. As I was painting I could hear a weed-eater in the distance getting closer, and closer.........
